Two way Thursday – Bardot

I have said it once and I’ll say it again, I am addicted to off the shoulder pieces.

The best part, this trend is carrying on throughout the Autumn/Winter season.

This clavicle-framing top is a great combination of romantic and sexy.

Also, it’s flattering to most body shapes.

Today I’m featuring the Bardot Broderie off the shoulder top which has unfortunately sold out. But Bardot has a whole section devoted to off the shoulder tops here.

Launched in 1996, Australian fashion power-house Bardot creates in excess of 1,000 of the hottest fashion styles for women every year.

The key to Bardot’s success is getting the latest look of the moment on the shop floor first.

Bardot has become the destination for women who wear fashion, with a bit of attitude that is always on the money.

Fun Fact – I worked at Bardot during my final year of uni.

Some tips when wearing off the shoulder.

You must wear a strapless bra.

Investing in a good strapless bra is key to this trend. My favourite one is actually from Bras N Things. If you have a larger bust, try Big Girls Don’t Cry.

Balance is key.

Off the shoulder tops are fantastic for ladies with pear or hourglass shaped figures, as it balances out your proportions.

Keep necklaces minimal and opt for statement earrings instead or chunky bangles.

On the left, I have gone for a sleek monochrome look by wearing a black and white pencil skirt with black ankle boots.

On the right, I have kept used a statement pair of earrings to add a bit of oomph to this outfit.

These are actually available from my online store. Black is now sold out but I have one pair left in white.

Which do you prefer: left or right? Or both?
